Co-produced the 1999 National Day theme song “Together” sung by 梦飞船 and 陈毓芸.
Wrote the mandarin version National Day theme song “Shine On Me”《星月》in 2000.
Judge for many singing competitions and songwriting competitions (e.g. Campus Superstar, Project Superstar, Superband, Voices of China (Singapore) etc).

Genesis
Jim Lim is a well-respected Producer/Songwriter/Music Arranger/Singer in the Mandarin Pop music industry, whose career began in 1992 as a studio engineer. Equipped with multi-instrumental skills, he progressed into a self-sufficient musician who wrote, arranged, mixed and produced his own songs.
In 1999, he formed the band 梦飞船, Dreamz FM. Using his extensive experience, he produced and co-wrote all 3 albums of Dreamz FM. The band obtained recognition in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and China.
He has since written and produced for many A-list artistes including Stephanie Sun 孙燕姿，Fish Leong 梁静茹，A-Mei 张惠妹，Nicholas Teo 张栋梁，Jacky Cheung 张学友，Show Luo 罗志祥，Jaycee Chan 房租名，Nan Quan Mama 南拳妈妈’s Lara 梁心頤，Fann Wong 范文芳，Wakin Chau 周华健 etc. Highly respected for his vocal ability, Jim has toured with big names such as Wang Lee Hom 王力宏，JJ Lin 林俊杰，A-Do 阿杜, A-Mei 张惠妹 as a backup vocalist.
He supports local independent artistes/bands, producing albums for Serene Koong 龚芝怡，Jones 石康钧，The Freshman 插班生，Macy 陈美心，Black Forest 黑森林，Rui En芮恩 etc. He was nominated and won many awards both local and overseas including 台湾金曲奖 (Golden Melody Awards)，新加坡红星大奖 (Mediacorp Star Awards)，and 新加坡金曲奖 (Singapore Hit Awards). Jim has also tutored many local artistes in singing and songwriting.
Pedagogy
There is so much Jim can share and impart to his students, but one main thing would be his experience in the industry pertaining to songwriting, music arrangement, recording, mixing, singing, backing vocals etc.
